Creating A Closet Of Self Care

Hey Dolls! Our owner Amanda recently sat on the Make 2019 The Year Of You panel and discussed her belief that style is such an important part of self-care! You can read her thoughts on that here! We wanted to walk you through a few simple ways to create a closet that is full of looks that will empower and motivate you!!

  1. Plan Ahead. We know, we know. You’re supposed to have a 6-step nightly skincare routine and now we’re asking you to pick out clothes before you go to sleep, too. Keep it simple! Just think of one or two pieces that will serve as the shell of your look. Then in the morning, you can get creative with the accessories and you won’t be panicked throwing shoes and digging through a pile of clothes on your bed. (We’ve all been there!)
  2. Be Organized. Dolls, watching the Konmari Method show on Netflix doesn’t count as getting organized. It’s time to do the work. Get in that closet and find those pieces that spark joy and give them the space and order they deserve. Pulling an outfit together is so much easier when you know where everything is. You won’t be rushed because you couldn’t find that one black tank. And because of that…you’ll be more comfortable and confident!
  3. Change It Up. Maybe you aren’t feeling confident in your clothes because they simply don’t represent who you are anymore! We go through so many phases and stages of life and certain articles of clothing and trends just don’t travel will with us through those phases. Dolls, this is where we can help! Book a Style Session with us, and you can come in and we’ll meet about what looks best fit your life and what you’re going to feel your absolute best in! You can read all about our Style Sessions here!
